Well I waited a while 'before talking about this project ... Many of you know John and Francesca Mengozzi Marcora better known as the Tatini or if you prefer authors Kill the Granny!
For those who do not know what I'm talking about:
"Kill the Granny" is the story of a neutered cat that enters into a pact with Satan to regain its "attributes". In return, Satan asks the soul of his mistress, a carefree and seventy svampita.Così the loser protagonist tries to kill her in the most absurd ... Too bad that he always cracks, consuming one by one his nine lives ... But there is no limit for the worst, in fact, the adventures (or misadventures) of this bizarre anti-hero continues in two other volumes in scenarios where Dante and parallel worlds presented to us will be divided bizarre characters and supernatural creatures of all kinds.
GRANNY KILL THE COMEDY COLLECTION is just a collection of stories about the past of all the extra characters that have gradually enhanced the wonderful world of Kill the Granny, a kind of volume "zero" to be chronologically before the events narrated in the trilogy "regular" ..
This collection includes ten mini-stories in fact carried out by ten different authors (including myself) .. E 'was great fun and liberating to be able to dedicate a work of this kind, from the beginning I had "carte blanche" starting with the opportunity to personally choose the character that I would mostly ..
Naturally, being a fan of the cat, I could not resist the temptation to put their hands directly on the protagonist, or the mythical Pippin! To help me to put him in trouble once again we thought that Frank had the pasienza to write all ten authors of the stories we wrote and then we run to our liking ..
If I may speak my mind, for me it was a joy to know from the outset to be part of this project and at this point I take this opportunity to publicly thank Frank and John not only for this great opportunity but also for the support I always already given by the first post of this blog ..
Now if you ask before the work, know that the volume is in the works since last fall, although we have started to design the boards much later. Fortunately for my part I managed to meet the delivery, if all goes well the release date is scheduled for Torino Comics (barring accidents).
